HISTORY
In
the years since 1976, when Free Soil Farms was founded, we have
guided our family operation towards long term sustainable
agriculture.
Our cattle are raised under the guidelines of the Livestock
Environmental Assurance Program (LEAP) as administered through
the Brown County, Ohio Natural Resource Conservation Service
extension office of the USDA.
Through this program,
we ensure that our farming does not have a negative impact on
our environment.
Through careful planning and management, Free Soil Farms is able
to produce the best beef while protecting our natural resources
for the next generations.
